It's been a LONG while since i posted something into my blog. But now it's gonna change, from now on i will post news more often

So one fine day i felt like sketching something, and decided to move forward with my own project.
This project consists from 3 storylines, each storyline is like a serial where each episode is like a movie (2-3h long).
Currently i am workin on character design (in the first storyline there are about 100 main characters - good / evil / neutral, not counting episodic and less important ones).
To be precise i was working on character designs all the time, but previously my work was a bit chaotic, but not anymore.
Now i have a battle plan XD.
First i will work on the 1st storyline.
Work goes like this.

» Stage 1. - Character profiles. (this is where i am right now)
» Stage 2. - Character Design (full body drawings) / alternate costumes / variations
» Stage 3. - Mystic creatures / Characters, various monsters e.t.c.
» Stage 4. - Weapons / Artifacts / Items e.t.c.
» Stage 5. - Ground Vehicles / Aircraft / Seacraft / Spacecraft / Alien motherships and other machinery stuff.
» Stage 6. - Environment / Architecture / Alien Worlds
» Stage 7. - The big coloring works, where i will try a new method of coloring.
» Stage 8. - Work on texts.
» Stage 9. - And finally, if the all mentioned above will be succesfully completed, i will move on and will start my own comic book.

Yesterday i found out about one really BIG event, a contest on a worldwide scale that will start next month.

Each artist can represent only one forum. Well i decided to enter it too, and i will represent CGSociety at this contest, that's because it was the first forum in area of CG where i registered, and it is the only one where i'm fully subscribed.

The thing is, that i have never particepated in any contest before, because i was't sure if i have any chance at all. I wasn't sure about my skills and abilities, but this year it will change, i think i should take a chance and give it a try and do the best i can. So in the end i'll see what i really am capable of.
Anyway, the main goal isn't about the winning at all, but the patricipation itself. It's a great opportunity to gain new frends and maybe even business contacts, so why shouldn't i try, why not... these are the questions i asked myself. So decision is made and we shall see how it will turn out

Today i completed my new artwork.
Actually i think i had a big progress in area of cg during past month.
Finally i have found my style and now has started the mass production of my old and new characters and creatures.
Next two works will be the reworked versions of older characters... both of them were created when i was still searching for my style and technique. So now when i have found what i needed, i think i need to rework them too... because they are ones of my favourite characters from this project of mine
If i'll be lucky, maybe i'll manage to complete one of them today, or if i will be extremely lucky then both of them

Right Now i am workin on my new character. This one will be the main character for my own project. I hope This month i will manage to get some time to finish it. After character design will be completed i will post it here and afterwards, there will also be an illustration with him.

Hello people

It's been a while since i post something here, but unfortunately i still have nothing to offer exept some sketches or WIP. You can watch them at my web-site (http://www.aeonseraph.com). The reason for this BIG pause is that at the moment i'm very busy working as a freelance. Currently i'm tied up with some large project - anime comic book series here in Latvia (It's something new here, becaus no one has drawn comics in anime style here before so this is an experiment). After that there will be other projects tied with those comics. We shall see how it will tur out in the end.

So my own project will have to wait for a moment. But i won't stop on my own thing, that i can promise for sure!
