Hi there.
Ok, here goes new character design from my project.
A little description:
This one is the representative of a royal family, also one of three generals and the right hand of the ruler of an ancient race.
In my story this race is considered to be the first race born created in our universe. They are the master architects of the other worlds, races, cultures and civilisations.
Through genetic manipulation they create slave races and use them to deplete all natural resources from the planets. Mostly it is gold which later using their technologies is transformed into substance which increases their longlivity and various abilities. To control all population of the slave race they create religions and myths which often are associated with themselves.
They create first civilisations, cultures. They teach population writing and basics of architecture. Sometimes they build cities and various monuments (Just like our Pyramids). They also create various mystic creatures which later (after this race leaves to another world) becomes a guardians of various temples and is like a personifications of various characters from those religions. So they serve as living proof that religions are based on truth. And as a result people obey blindly without asking any questions. Usually they return after many thousands of years to collect all of the depleted and gathered natural resources.
Sometimes they create hybrid race mixing genes of slave race and their own. As a result they create superior culture with a purpose to control the planet while they're gone. (Just like our Atlantis)
But if slave population or superior culture is evolved too far and have become too advanced and dare to stand against them, they simply destroy every living creature on planet, and recreate everything.
Dy'Cratoss is the imperial herald who sometimes by his own initiative goes to various worlds and creates everything as he wants. One of his primary tasks is to collect all gathered natural resources from worlds all over the universe.
Usually he is sent to the worlds where slave races are evolved beyound their limitations. So basically it means if he arrives to the planet, this means that soon everything will go KABOOM and no one / nothing can stop it from happening.
At least this is what usually happens, but sometimes there are exceptions when most part of the slave race surrenders.
Spheres that are floating around him are used for many purposes, bot one of their basic functions is to collect inormation from all over the world (it's like planet scanning) and then return to the master and give all of the collected data to him.
There are a lot more to tell but i'll stop for now. XD XD XD

It is also the last work this year, so it's kinda conclusion to 2007.
That's why i put everything i got in this one . It took too much time from me to complete it ( about32h). Perhaps the reason for this was all those details and Glyphs + Symbols.
Every glyph and symbol i made on my own, no references were used. Although i've lost much time on this, In the end i'm satisfied with a result. I think this was worth it.
In my personal opinion it's the best work iv'e ever done.
Used Photoshop (Mostly) + a little bit of Painter and offcourse my precious Wacom Intuos 3.
