Ora'avyen Yin
Painter, Photoshop
September 2008

Hello to everybody. ^__~V

Today is the day when i am finally able to post something new :]
It is my first completed CG work this year.
This time i tried a different technique of colouring. I changed my style a bit too, i hope it looks better now.
I spent about 38 hours on this piece. Yeah i know, it's way too long, but hey i was experimenting a lot in here :]
The texture in BG is also created by me, so no, it's not taken from i-net.
I used Photoshop CS3 for cellshading + design of the page, and Corel Painter for blendering and painting.

Some notes about character:
It's not human, and certainly nof from this world, in fact not even from this universe. It has no gender etc.
His body is covered with some kind of silver-toned-organic-metal skin. No known material or energy can penetrate it. For example, it can fly through the sun and it won't have a scratch on it's body. To be short, this being is invincible in this universe, and on top of that It posesses a very destructive / cataclysmic powers although he prefers to not use them. Sometimes it seems like our laws of physics doesn't apply to it either.
This being doesn't sleep, and has no need for food either. It survives by feeding from various kinds of energies. It doesn't need clothes of any kind because it is constantly fighting very powerful enemies and creatures. But it has a ceremonial costume, which is used in special (usually ritualistic) occasions.
Sometime later i will draw another version of Ora'avyen in it's costume.

I hope U like this one, C & C are most wellcome.
Take care! ^^
